When the weather is warmer, there’s nothing better than spending time in our great British parks to enjoy a Picnic. The is sun shining above you, a tartan blanket underneath and basket full of cakes, sandwiches and bubbles awaits. Our picnics provide the perfect laid-back lunch option on a balmy, summer day.

That’s why we’ve set up a delightful luxury Royal Parks Picnic from The Athenaeum, for you to enjoy at our neighbouring Royal Parks. Royal Green Park is just a stones throw and Hyde Park is a hop-skip and a jump away from our hotel. You can enjoy the best views of Buckingham Palace and all the pageantry during the Coronation celebrations, or even during the summer months. The Royal Parks Picnic is available from April to September during the year.

Simply pre-order, collect your basket and blanket at the hotel, and find a sunny spot just across the road in Green Park for an al fresco treat.

Please note, we require 48 hours’ notice and a £100 deposit for the picnic basket & plates.
