We had the most fabulous time, once again. The room was divine – it will be hard to go back to a simple double - and the service was even better than we have come to expect. We really pushed the boundaries this time, in terms of our constant needs, and yet every member of staff remained patient and cheery.

Amazing place and fantastic hospitality

We work in London and have two of our children living in London at present - we always choose to stay at The Athenaeum whether it's business or pleasure, together or alone, with family or friends. Primarily it is the service. The people could not be more hospitable or warm - you feel like you're part of a family (minus the arguments and politics) and that feels amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the food is sublime.

Always the best

Every time I travel to London I stay at the Athenaeum. Everyone who works there is amazing and they treat me like family. The food is great the rooms are clean and the location is perfect. Great access to parks and the tube. I highly recommend!

Home away from home

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered the hotel. The doormen knew who we were before we'd set foot inside, and it's touches like this that really make a stay special. Kim checked us in, she was so warm and friendly it was just a wonderful experience.
