London Cocktail Week, running from October 3rd to 13th, 2024, is the ultimate celebration of London’s renowned cocktail scene. This 11-day festival, now in its 15th year, offers cocktail lovers a unique opportunity to explore the city’s best bars, each offering exclusive £8 Signature Cocktails. With a wristband costing £20, participants can enjoy these specially crafted drinks across hundreds of venues, making it a fantastic way to experience the creativity and diversity of London’s bartenders.

The Athenaeum is excited to participate and give guests a taste of their new bar menu. The menu is inspired by the hotel’s rich history and sustainability journey. Following the recent Summer activation on The Terrace, serving up delicious Spritz cocktails, we are bringing a twist on our signature Spritz flavours to cocktail week. Introducing the Atherol Daquiri, made with Aperol, House Rum Blend, Green Chartreuse, Lime and Grapefruit. Guests can expect a refreshing citrus blend, presented with elegance, bringing sustainability and glamorous history to the sipping experience.

The festival isn’t just about drinks; it’s an immersive experience filled with a variety of events. From pop-ups and themed parties to masterclasses and international takeovers, London Cocktail Week has something for everyone. This year’s festival will also feature the return of the Connoisseur’s Collection, a series of reservation-only events at some of the city’s most prestigious bars, offering an intimate and elevated cocktail experience. Additionally, the Bartender Knowledge Exchange Programme provides a platform for visiting bartenders to learn from the best in the business through exclusive tastings, tours, and more​.
