The pièce de résistance, however, comes in the form of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Green Park. One of the city’s alluring Royal Parks, this makes for an inspiring view just waiting to greet you every single morning.

Another tempting option for families and extended stay visitors to London are the Residences at The Athenaeum. These are found in exceptional Victorian red-brick townhouses adjacent to the hotel. Each apartment has its own front door and a discreet internal entryway into the hotel. Ideal for families and those who want a little more privacy, these serviced apartments also come fully equipped with modern kitchens.

These residences are ideal for those on extended stays in London because they have an entirely separate bedroom and a generous living area with a dining table. The Athenaeum is a family-run affair too, meaning we understand family life inside-out. Some of our serviced apartments therefore also come with a bunk bed, perfect for the little ones. Additionally, we can arrange cots and extra bedding if that’s what you need. On top of that, it’s possible to make some of the apartments interconnecting for larger families or for additional privacy.

If total privacy and multiple bedrooms come high on your agenda, The Penthouse Suite is the place to be. Complete with three double bedrooms, two sitting rooms, a large dining area, two bathrooms and a Jacuzzi bathroom with a TV, every luxury and creature comfort has been taken care of in this suite. You’ll also have a private balcony with glittering panoramic views over the city.

Providing the right accommodation for families and extended stay visitors is just the beginning. For families, our children’s concierge is the go-to person to help with all family related whims and dramas. They’re used to tantrums and picky eaters! The children’s concierge will help the little ones dig into our toy store, arrange activities like kite flying in Hyde Park or organise special treats, such as milk and biscuits before bedtime. We also have a team of nannies and babysitters on standby in case you need a bit of time to yourself.

Business visitors on extended stays can also take advantage of our five class business services. Great Wi Fi, suites with space to work, and the ability to hire meeting rooms for larger meetings are all straightforward at The Athenaeum.
